The following CIS Benchmarks have been updated or recently released. We've highlighted the major updates below. Each Benchmark includes a full changelog that references all changes.

New CIS Microsoft Windows 11 Stand-alone Benchmark v1.0.0

New CIS Apple iOS 16 v1.0.0 Benchmark

With the update to Apple’s iOS platform, we have updated the CIS Apple iOS Benchmark to reflect those changes. Here's a brief overview of the modifications we made:

  • Added new recommendations focused around features added to iOS 16 since launch
  • Added new risk analysis where it was previously missing

The iOS Build Kit is being released simultaneously with the Benchmark release.

New CIS IBM i V7R5M0 Benchmark v1.0.0

New CIS Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 Benchmark v1.0.0

A lot of effort has gone into analyzing and creating this Benchmark to cover the new Debian Linux 11 release.

Updates to CIS Microsoft IIS 10 Benchmark v1.2.0 

Here's a brief glimpse of what we did to improve the value of this Benchmark:

  • Updated five settings
  • Fixed spelling/grammatical errors throughout the Benchmark

Updates to CIS Microsoft Intune for Windows 10 Benchmark v1.1.0

Here's a snapshot of this month's changes:

  • Moved, added, and renamed several sections due to updated ADMX templates
  • Added 86 new settings
  • Updated nine settings
  • Removed two settings

Updates to CIS Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) Benchmark v1.2.0

This updated Benchmark includes support for Kubernetes 1.2.4. Highlights of this release Include:
  • Coverage for Kubernetes 1.22 through Kubernetes 1.24
  • Changes to Managed Service Recommendation Section
  • Updates and improvements made to various recommendations
