CIS Hardened Images on AWS Marketplace
Discover how CIS Hardened Images are helping organizations strengthen their cloud security posture. Featured at AWS re:Invent, these pre-configured, security-focused virtual machine images are developed in alignment with the CIS Benchmarks and available on the AWS Marketplace. Visit our booth to see how CIS and AWS are enabling secure-by-default cloud infrastructure for technical teams.
AWS EC2 Image Builder
To ensure CIS Hardened Images remain compatible with current AWS-supported operating systems and up-to-date CIS Benchmarks, CIS will soon be releasing a technical update to the CIS hardening components for AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Image Builder. This update will allow AWS customers to automate the creation of hardened AMIs within Image Builder pipelines without manual hardening/unhardening cycles.
CIS Hardened Images for NVIDIA Linux Deployments
CIS will soon be launching its first-ever Hardened Images to support AI/ML, supporting NVIDIA-optimized Linux environments. These images will mark an expansion of CIS Hardened Images into the AI/ML ecosystem, enabling organizations to securely deploy AI workloads on the cloud with the same trusted CIS hardening standards, utilizing the CIS Benchmarks. We're excited to be bringing the cost, time, and expertise savings of CIS Hardened Images for traditional cloud deployments to the world of AI-enabled AWS environments.
CIS Hardened Images available in AWS GovCloud (US) Region
These securely configured virtual machine images are aligned to trusted recommendations of the CIS Benchmarks, enabling U.S. government agencies and contractors to quickly deploy trusted, pre-hardened environments in a cloud region designed to meet stringent regulatory and compliance requirements.
