Election Ready A Cross-Sector Preparedness Guide
Election Ready: A Cross-Sector Preparedness Guide from the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center (EI-ISAC)
Published on October 5, 2026
Election security is a shared responsibility. Election officials, law enforcement, emergency managers, IT teams, and other partners each play a distinct role. When those roles are well-coordinated, the entire system is more resilient.
Election Ready: A Cross-Sector Preparedness Guide provides final readiness checklists for the full range of organizations that support election operations, drawing on threat landscape analysis and cross-sector discussions from the October 1, 2026 Elections Threat 2026 forum.
Use it as a practical checklist. If answers to any of the five final questions at the end of the guide are unclear for your organization, that is where to focus between now and Election Day.
