Cyber Risk Series: Audit & Compliance Edition

Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. PT

Gone are the days when audit preparation was a once-a-year exercise. With expanding regulations, hybrid environments, and pressure to prove compliance at any moment, organizations face an uncomfortable truth: gaps exist — and they’re growing.

In Qualys's Cyber Risk Series: Audit & Compliance Edition, leading experts, practitioners, and compliance strategists come together to address one core issue: how to build a state of always-on audit readiness without gaps.

The event will examine the root causes of audit fatigue, explore what continuous compliance looks like in practice, and reveal how forward-thinking teams are automating their way out of reactive cycles — with new innovations designed to bring policy and proof together in real time.

As part of this live virtual event, Charity Otwell, Director of CIS Critical Security Controls (CIS Controls) at the Center for Internet Security® (CIS®), will present "CIS Controls – The Smart Starting Point for Cyber Risk Reduction."

By attending this session, you'll learn:

  • How the Controls offer a prioritized roadmap for building a strong security foundation and aligning with broader frameworks
  • How to practically apply the Controls, as informed by real-world examples Charity will share from her governance and risk work in finance
