In K-12, cybersecurity is no longer a problem unfolding somewhere in the background. It is showing up in the school day, in district operations, and in the growing responsibility to protect students, staff, and the systems that keep education moving forward. Things like rapid vulnerability identification and exploitation, trusted vendors suffering catastrophic incidents, fellow districts crippled by ransomware, and social engineering continue to reshape the threat landscape. Due to that, many schools are realizing that good intentions and piecemeal efforts are no longer enough. What is needed now is a clearer path forward.
