Pierluigi Falcone headshotEnsuring the security of our online world is an ongoing challenge; it requires the expertise and dedication of IT professionals around the globe. That's why the CIS Benchmarks™ Community exists — to provide independent, vendor-agnostic security guidance that benefits everyone. Volunteers in the CIS Benchmarks Communities help those who seek a safer online experience.

Meet Pierluigi Falcone, IT Security Manager at Pluxee Italy. In this role, Falcone is responsible for local security-related initiatives. He has a total of 20+ years of information security experience, having started out as a technical support representative for a value-added reseller before moving into information security and information risk management roles. Falcone’s diverse job experience has allowed him to acquire broad expertise on a wide range of technologies, domains, and services related to information security.

Falcone has been an active contributor in the CIS Benchmarks Communities since 2017 and as an editor since 2021. He's centered his focus on the CIS Apple iOS/iPad Benchmark.

"Everyone can join a CIS Community and participate at their own pace. This is an opportunity to be part of something which is very recognizable within the IT security industry that can provide mutual added value."

Falcone also appreciates the consensus process and the information sharing, as it allows volunteers to challenge ideas.
