The following CIS Benchmarks have been updated or recently released. We've highlighted the major updates below. Each Benchmark includes a full changelog that references all changes.

CIS Benchmarks Updated Last Month

CIS Microsoft Azure Database Services Benchmark v2.0.0

The CIS Microsoft Azure Community is pleased to announce the publication of the updated CIS Microsoft Azure Database Services Benchmark v2.0.0.

Summary of changes in this latest version:

  • 20 Recommendations Added
  • 23 Recommendations Updated
  • 2 Recommendations Deleted
  • 67 Tickets Addressed
  • Removed retired services:
    • Azure SQL Edge
    • Azure Database for MariaDB

The full changelog is included at the end of both the PDF and DOCX files.

We are excited to release the updated CIS PostgreSQL 13 Benchmark v1.3.0. This version includes updates to reflect version changes as well as corrections to typos.

CIS Fortigate 7.4.x Benchmark v1.0.1

We are pleased to announce the release of CIS FortiGate 7.4.x Benchmark v1.0.1. A lot of work went into the drafting of this Benchmark. It could not have happened without the assistance of the Fortinet community.

This Benchmark marks the first release with the ability to scan a configuration using the CIS-CAT tool.

  • 32 Artifacts were created to evaluate configurations

We are excited to announce the release of CIS HPE Aruba CX Switch Benchmark v1.0.0
