Election Security Kit

Clear Resources to Help Explain How U.S. Elections Are Secured

As America's frontline cyber defense partner for U.S. election offices, the EI-ISAC has compiled an Election Security Kit with easy-to-use resources that explain how elections are protected across jurisdictions throughout the United States and educate citizens on the critical role of those who help secure those elections.

Designed for public education and outreach, the Election Security Kit helps election officials explain complex processes in simple terms — highlighting the people, practices, and protections that support secure and reliable elections.

Improving Public Understanding of Elections

Elections involve multiple steps, systems, and safeguards that can be difficult to see or understand from the outside. Providing clear, accessible information helps improve the understanding of how elections are administered, promote transparency around processes and protections, and support informed engagement with election-related topics.

The Election Security Kit includes three different posters, two of which can be customized with jurisdictional information, a social media kit, and instructions for use.
