UAlbany, Center for Internet Security Collaboration Prepares Students for Cybersecurity Careers

The Center for Internet Security has teamed up with the University at Albany’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity to prepare the next generation of cyber defenders. CIS Chief Information Security Officer, Sean Atkinson, says he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with the students. "This is a passion of mine. It's not something I have to do, but it's something I want to do. It really fulfills something in me to work with the students, providing my own experiences and making them aware of the products and the services we offer that can help them in their careers.” CIS Vice President of Security Operations and Intelligence, Randy Rose and CIS Vice President of Strategic Cybersecurity Capabilities, James Globe are also part of the program and educating students on a variety of cybersecurity topics.
