MS-ISAC warns of rising cyber threats to SLTT installations, urges enhanced resilience and coordination

Given Americans’ reliance on the services provided by public-sector critical infrastructure, state and local government cybersecurity is an essential component of national security. Managing these threats requires a national-level response with national-scale solutions to fight nation-state threat actors. Moreover, SLTT governments have raised concerns in recent years about the need for additional resources, including funding, technology upgrades, and trained personnel who can monitor and rapidly respond to malicious attacks and other cyber incidents.
