Mel Wesley

Mel Wesley is a member of the CIS Board of Directors. He also serves as chief financial officer and board advisor for companies in the cybersecurity space. Mel has over twenty years of experience serving as a chief financial officer for both publicly traded and private technology growth companies. Mel has raised capital in public markets via tender offer, private markets via private equity and venture capital rounds, and private debt via growth debt. Starting in 2021, Mel began serving on boards as a director for both publicly traded and private technology companies. Mel’s board service includes audit committee chair for a public company, and multiple board committees.

Mel began his career as an auditor in public accounting, and he earned a B.S. in Accounting and an MBA from George Mason University. Mel is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
