What Attendees Learned:

A discussion of the big three open source Content Management Systems: WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, and the LAMP and WIMP stacks that they leverage. Topics will include the key security vulnerabilities; how to manage them and keep them up to date; and what to do in a hosted environment such as GoDaddy or Bluehost. We will also discuss how they can be used effectively in intranet settings to reduce costs.

Ben Vivante has over 15 years of experience in teaching open source technologies for the public and private sectors. He currently works as a Web Developer and Security Analyst for the Town of Brookline, MA
