ISAC National Webinar: The Next Generation Software Solution As Ecosystem for Land and Community Development

Previously presented on Thursday, October 7th | 2:00 pm EDT

The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed how land-management and community-development services are requested by the community and delivered by government. To solve for this, jurisdictions need to rapidly deploy new systems and processes. These next generation solutions need to be an all-inclusive ecosystem where all planning, design, permitting and licensing, inspection and construction management, and related activities are handled in an integrated way. They also need to enable efficient and effective collaboration and communication between all stakeholders from both the private and public sector.

This session will use frameworks and real-world examples to provide practical advice on how to define and implement these next generation solutions, including: best practice workflows that streamline operations and minimize human error; measurement architectures and analytics to track results and enable continual improvement; and communication plans that address initial change management and ongoing collaboration requirements. The session also addresses technology requirements around scalability and interoperability in order to create flexible and future-proof systems. This is all explored within the context of rolling out solutions that are highly secure and fully compliant.
