LGPD Annex to the Privacy Guide (Portuguese Translation)

The CIS Controls v8 Privacy Companion Guide supports the objectives of the CIS Critical Security Controls (CIS Controls) by aligning principles of privacy and highlighting potential privacy concerns that may arise through the use of these Controls. For each CIS Control, the Privacy Guide references the Fair Information Principles Practice Principles (FIPPs) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to assist in the analysis of privacy implications.

This annex references the relationship of CIS Controls with the Principles defined in Brazilian legislation Law 13,709/2018, which is known as the General Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD).
