CIS Benchmarks January 2022 Update
The following CIS Benchmarks have been updated or released. We've highlighted the major updates below. Each Benchmark includes a full changelog that can be referenced to see all changes made.
CIS macOS 12.0 Monterey Benchmark v1.0.0
A new Benchmark and corresponding Build Kit are available for this technology, using Apple's mobile configuration profiles. The Benchmark includes:
- New recommendations based on new functionality in macOS 12.0
- Profiles, like the previous macOS releases

CIS Google Container-Optimized OS Benchmark v1.0.0
Prescriptive guidance for establishing a secure posture for Linux systems based on Container-Optimized OS and running on Google Cloud Platform. Level 1 recommendations are supported starting from COS-89+.

CIS Google Chrome Benchmark v2.1.0
This Benchmark was supported/tested with Chrome v96. It includes:
- New recommendations based on new browser capabilities
- Updated all references to newer Google documentation
- Automated Assessment Content (SCAP) and CIS Build Kit (GPOs) updates
