Gallagher’s CIS Value Added Cyber Enhancement Amendatory

Gallagher’s relationship with CIS has allowed it to understand the value of CIS membership and how meaningful deployment of CIS SecureSuite® resources can improve an organization’s cyber risk profile. With this in mind, Gallagher has taken the additional step to negotiate an exclusive CIS enhancement amendatory endorsement that expands the insurance terms provided by Everest Insurance®. This endorsement will be provided to CIS SecureSuite® Members exclusively through Gallagher. This industry leading cyber insurance amendatory provides broad enhancements including but not limited to:

  • Coverage for claims arising from General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Wrongful collection coverage
  • Breach response preamble amended to “Pay on Behalf of” language
  • Breach response costs to include a PCI Forensics Investigator
  • Cyber extortion costs to include goods and services
  • Cyber extortion event provides coverage for rogue employee activity
  • Security breach includes DDOS attacks
  • Private information includes biometric information and browsing history
  • Period of restoration of 180 days from a business interruption

CIS SecureSuite® Members with less than $600 million in annual revenue who utilize CIS-CAT Pro may be eligible for a 10% discount on annual premiums for Everest's Cyber Elevation Policy and the Gallagher CIS Amendatory upon submitting a completed application to SecureSuiteSubmissions@everestre.com with a carbon copy to Aimee_McNulty@ajg.com.
