IT Security Account Manager

About the Job

The IT Security Program Manager will be responsible for managing existing accounts, proactively selling CIS Services to new accounts, handling inquiries, identifying prospects and building relationships to acquire new customers.  This position will provide exceptional service to all prospective customers, representing CIS in a professional and courteous manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales cycle and successfully sell CIS Services to new accounts
  • Serve a variety of markets by suggesting and delivering the right solutions to meet customer needs
  • Establish relationships with client decision makers to help secure new business opportunities
  • Work with inside stakeholders to streamline new accounts onboarding process
  • Manage existing accounts and maintain high-quality customer relationships
  • Maintain a high level of prospects via marketing generated leads and outbound prospecting to build and manage a robust pipeline
  • Deliver effective presentations to key decision makers
  • Maintain and build customer relationships throughout the sales process
  • Mentor entry-level team members through coaching and feedback
  • Input and manage all sales opportunities through CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Professionally represent the company to existing clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Travel for meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, customer visits, trade shows, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college in a technical or business discipline or equivalent sales experience with track record of success
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of prior Sales experience
  • A great attitude, strong desire for success and highly persuasive selling skills
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers and channel partners
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical concepts
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong marketing, business development, and negotiating skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to proactively resolve client concerns and issue
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical selling experience in IT software or hardware
