07/09/2003 -- Dell Computer begins offering desktop and notebook computers with the operating system configured based on the CIS Level-1 Benchmark for Windows 2000.

09/05/2003 -- GSA awards CIS a follow-on contract to continue the master license arrangement for federal agencies established in September 2002.
